Hi- I didn’t find artichokes listed on the IBS diet cheat sheet..I assume they have insoluble fiber, but maybe some soluble too given the texture when cooked? How safe is it? I was hoping to try some (leaves from steamed whole cooked artichoke) after a few crackers for soluble fiber..would this be safe or not recommended? Thank you!!

Hi - if you stick to the soft smushy part on the inside of the tough leaves, and the heart, that is all soluble fiber and safe.

XOXO
