Wondering if you can help...
I suffer from chronic IBS (D) and lately, I've been experiencing strong lower back pain. I'm in the middle of a flare, but I'm now doing the "What to eat when you can't eat" diet to calm my digestive system down. Yet, my back is still in pain. I wondered if there is a correlation that you've noticed between your IBS and back pain. Thanks in advance for your feedback.

yes there may be a correlation between IBS & back pain, considering your intestines take up so much room in your body. I had back pain when I was having trouble with my IBS. But I had constipation, which put alot of pressure on my back. Not sure how diarreah would effect the back, but maybe look it up online.(Google) good luck!

YES! Typically the pain in my back happens when I've eaten something that makes me gassy. I notice the back pain typically before I notice the gas. I also get a weird pain on my right side between my neck and my shoulder. Weird. Haven't figured out how to prevent it yet. It took me a long time to see the connection. Now, when I get that pain, I know what the problem is.
