I know this has been discussed in the past, but I haven't been here in a while. I just had a positive pg test and am wondering whether probiotics are safe to continue taking. I haven't been to the dr yet. Also since I had an inkling I might have been, my IBS has flared up extremely bad. Has that happened for anyone else? I was certainly hoping it would go into remission for a while, but no such luck. My migraines have done really well, but not my IBS.

Thanks! I am excited. I had two miscarriages 7.5 years ago so I am nervous, but really excited. I haven't told anyone other than my husband.

Congrats! Not sure about the probiotics (I don't see why they'd be a problem), but my IBS definitely flared a bit right at first, then I noticed small flares between trimesters. Other than that, it didn't bother me much.
Good luck!

Congrats! My IBS was bad the first 8-10 weeks and then it was in remission until after I stopped nursing. Everyone I have talked to is different so hopefully yours will stop after awhile too!

Thanks guys! I have been out of work the past two days it has been so bad. Everything I eat runs right through. My dr said Kaopectate is safe to take, but as soon as it starts to wear off, it is right back. I'm hoping and praying it ends soon.
