I'm almost there. 4 days from now I'll be a mommy!!! Today is the 38 week mark. I have a scheduled c-section on Thursay. DH and I are both so excited. And getting very impatient. I've been enjoying my time away from work the last two weeks. My swelling has gotten pretty bad, so it's nice to be able to put my feet up a lot. I'm going to try to get lots of sleep the next couple days. After that it will be a thing of the past I'll post an update and pics after the baby is born and after we're home. Thanks for all the encouragement through our infertility struggles and through the pregnancy. This is such a wonderful board.

I hope your delivery goes off with no complications and you have a healthy baby and quick recovery!
I'm about 10 weeks behind you, but I really hope I make it to my due date because we have SOO much going on.

Rest up!

IBS-A since age 12, and fructose sensitive; with the exception of my pregnancy, have been following Heather's diet since Nov. 19, 2007.

Good Luck Mary! I had a c-section 4 mos ago. Try to get as much rest as possible while you are in the hospital although you'll probably be up a lot just feeding the baby. Just don't forget to take naps whenever you can.

It seems like it went so fast but the first few weeks are rough. You'll be recovering and you'll have a newborn to take care of. Hopefully you'll have some family around to help you out - even someone bringing over dinner is a blessing. Keep us all posted when you can.
