I'm sorry about the crappy diagnosis... I am like you in that I don't cook for myself. I can't stand the feel/smell of raw food (yes, even vegs, they smell horrendous to me), so if I can't reheat something or throw it in the microwave, I don't eat it. 
I know it's hard to find motivation. I can't think of anything motivating, but I'm happy to sit here and sulk with you for the time being.
Anything good on TV in your area? All my shows are on reruns now. I did see an interesting documentary about teenage runaways doing drugs in Florida. I was switching back and forth between that and My Super Sweet Sixteen. Gave me lovely perspective and took my mind off my crap tummy for a while.

I hear ya on the re-runs.. I'm watching Reba on Lifetime.. I just love that show.!! I like all the crime type shows as well..

I've had IBS a really long time. When I was 6, I had pneumonia and got a couple batches of harsh antibiotics. My IBS symptoms started after that, when I was 7.  My teachers used to complain I used the restroom a lot. It's one of my earliest memories, having my teachers complain to me!
Reba rocks. It's on like all the time, too! Have you seen Mad Men on AMC? It's set in the '60's. I'm addicted! Reruns are on Thursday nights, I think.

hmm I've not heard of Mad Men.. I'll need to look for the listing..
Do you watch the Biggest Loser show? I find it encouraging to see what the players overcome... guess not encouraging enough for me to actually do something myself. lol..
I wonder what time they go to bed and get up in the morning..
I think I'll need to buy another copy of Heather's books.. I let a friend borrow them a year ago, but doubt she even knows where they are now..
