I JUST RESIGNED FROM MY JOB!!!
Ok, deep breath................I was soo nervous my tummy has been in shreds.
Short version of the story is that we are moving from Dublin and bought a house in Gorey, a country town about 55 miles from the city. The house is in the process of being built and will be ready in September.
I saw a job online in a town 25 miles from there, applied, had two interviews and got a job offer...so I just resigned. My boss was really nice but sad, as were a lot of my colleagues as I really got on well with a lot of them.
This is a quality of life move as opposed to a career move etc. I am really excited but nervous about all the changes too. I will probably be staying with my parents or my cousin for about a month until the house is ready and P will be in Dublin.
I've been keeping quiet on this news all along as I was so nervous that my work colleagues would find out.
So relieved to have it all out in the open now!

AWESOME Sinead! COngratulations. Quality of life means a lot. WHat's Padhraig going to do for work?

There is tons of room, is a 4bedroom house, so much bigger than our house in Dublin!

The idea of living in a country town is SOOO appealing to me these days. I'm sure you'll love it. And what better reason to change than to improve quality of life?

Im so happy for you thats great....is this part of turning 30 and wanting to retire to a quiet place in the country where you can grow old???  hehe...only kidding...but me suspects perhaps you and padhraig are planning this to be a family home for when we hear the pitter patter of baby fox's feet????
By the way...just got ur email...Im so upset cos I just typed the longest email of my life explaining everything...literally step by step...and it was very therapeutic...and then it went and deleted itself on me...Im gutted..it completely took all my energy to write that too..Im gona have to have a break before I even attempt to re write it....but you will get it soon.
