Hello my dear friends
I am so busy revising for exams now but thought I'd pop in to say hello and also because I am having a sense of humour moment with my IBS. I have felt so C for 24 hours and suddenly, it all bursts out as D...why on earth does this happen to us????????????????????? Its like I cannot win with this thing hahahahahhaha. It felt like it was going to be proper rabbit poos and BOOM, it wasn't. Don't worry, I am not expecting an explanation from anyone as to why this happens, I have tried everything in the last 11 years. Looks like I may be heading to a diagnosis of having a motility disorder. I am quite excited...I am heading out in 15 minutes for my first appointment with a psychotherapist to discuss my IBS and all thw anxiety it brings me...lets hope my bum doesn't explode again. :-)
LOVE YOU ALL xxxxxxxxx

Good luck with your appointment and I hope you don't have any unexpected explosions although if you do he or she will catch on rather quickly how annoying IBS can be!

Make sure to double over in pain. That works to punctuate a point.

Good luck dalia! On the bright side, atleast you probably got some relief from that D attack! I know how it is, I am an Aer and have been dealing with incomplete bowel movements lately, but I think I am all patched up finally today!

Yes, it's so unpredictable, just when you think you know your body and your symptoms, something totally unexpected happens and makes you feel like a beginner all over again!

If you have time with all that revising, can you tell us what a motility disorder is? I thought IBS was a motility disorder - so what is the difference in the diagnosis?

Good luck with exams BTW!

Hey there! Yeah, I know what the latter is like. I actually can't imagine how frustrating A must be -- at least I always know how things are going to go when they go badly!

Hope you do well at the doctor's - anxiety is the worst so hopefully he'll (she'll) fix you all up!!
