Anyone tried the Icy/Hot Patches?

I've been working out with a personal trainer - who I swear is trying to kill me - and have been really sore afterwards because I am so out of shape. My arms have been bugging me this week because the muscle in my elbow feels so tight when I try to straighten my arm.

So I tried getting those Icy/Hot patches and I thought I was going to pass out from the pain the icy feeling was causing! Granted, I probably should have only started with one elbow, but I hadn't expected that strong of a reaction.

Anyone else use those and are they supposed to be so strong? Or is it just because I applied it to my inner elbow?

try using Absorbine Jr instead... you can put it all several times... there is a little odor to it...but it is not greasy or anything...

I also use this to help stop leg cramps... Shane & I both have a bottle on our sides of the bed and also in our gym bags!

But I use Tiger Balm instead on pulled muscles....burns some, but works REALLY well.

Jennifer, the excess burning is most likely because the skin is so tender in that area. I have used the pads several times, but just like your eye area is tender to creams and such, this area of your skin is very sensitive. I have had that pain before, and it hurts like heck!!! Just lay low on the training for your biceps for several days, and it will go away. Just be sure that in the future you really stretch your arms out before and after you work them!!! Good luck!!
