Okay, ya'll already know what I ate so I don't even need to post.......okay, I will post it anyway!

I had a VIOLENT ATTACK at 5:00pm from ant spray. We had some ants that found the cough syrup in the pantry and I went after them with the spray and I got a good whiff of that stuff and I was bed-ridden for 2.5 hours after that.

I forced myself to eat at 8:00 and took my fiber and I was fine......NO MORE BUG SPRAY!!! Today, I used the vaccuum and it worked out much better!! Now, I just have scouts....they're very persistent down here in Georgia. They are looking very hard for anything to eat!!!

2 Mashed Potato/Green Bean Burritos
Chamomile Tea

Baked Fries (3 potatoes worth)
Few Almonds
Handful of Teddy Grahams
1 Twizzler

More Teddy Grahams (fine this time~made me sick, yesterday)

Mashed Potato/Green Bean/Mushroom quesadilla
Anise Tea

ATTACK!!!!

Plain Mashed Potatoes and Plain Mini Bagel

BED!

Michelle

Tomorrow's another day!

Today was a more normal day for me. But when I look back on it, it still seems like not enough eating after counting the calories. Only 975 today, can that really be right?

1 serv. arrowroot cookies
1 serv. apple/cinnamon rice crisps

crispix with soymilk

1/2 piece angle food cake

2 c. spagetti squash w/ dried sage, dill, soy parm, salt, pepper and 1/4 T vegan butter
(one of my favorites)

1/2 piece angel food cake

6 vege potstickers w/ teriyaki sauce

1/2 piece angel food cake

It seems to be hard for me to get in the calories when I am focusing on smaller portions for the IBS. Hmmm.

I have the same problem.

I haven't figured out a solution yet.

A much better day. Woke up with D, but easily managed with Immodium Advanced. Had evil burning hearburn that finally vanished in the afternoon. Went out for dinner to celebrate my first smoke-free week in a long time.

Crispix

Creamy asparagus soup
Portabella mushroom pizzas with rice parmesan cheese

vegetarian tofu hot & sour soup (with some soft tofu)
steamed rice
steamed spinach with oyster sauce (a totally safe Chinese dinner!)
fortune cookie

tic tacs

more steamed spinach/rice

Calories? Hardly enough. But anymore food and I'd be puking. Sometimes, less is more. I was quite satisfied.

Kate.

Suggestion....

Have Heather's sweet cinnamon zucchini bread instead of Angel cake - it's incredibly calorific!

Congratulations!!! You have been smoke free for a week AND you went out to dinner!!! Wow! I'm totally jealous!
I still can't leave the house for very long. I don't think I could make it out to dinner, just yet.

Awesome! Go girl!
Having a mad bloat spell at the moment....Bleh!!

I still don't have everything I need to make these breads. I don't even own a "sifter". Gotta go get one of those.....I don't think I even have flour!! LOL! I haven't made bread since about the year 2000, when I helped my MIL make bread in New Mexico.
That's sad!!!!!!!! I really need to make this bread. I think it would definitely put some weight on me.

Karen, I'm not doing so hot on angel food cake at the moment. Does it bother your stomach at all?? I don't know if it's because of my reflux or IBS.

Seriously, Michelle. You can get out for a bite. It's so easy to get a baked potatoe at most places or a bowl of steamed rice, totally simple and safe stuff for IBS and acid reflux. If you give specific instructions re: preparation, generally one receives that which one requests. You really need to get out, just to get out. Heck, bring your own tea bags and bottled water. I've even been as anal as to bring my own potatoe or dinner to a restaurant to eat in the company of others, before I felt "safe" to order or trust that there might be something on the menu. SERIOUSLY!

The bloating will go away--just give it time. Try some homemade organic chicken or vegetable soup. Works like a charm and is highly alkalizing.

But seriously, don't let yourself feel trapped.

It isn't hard on my stomach, but it is kind of hard to swallow since its a little dry. I could imagine that might cause some problems. Its tastey but not so good that I should be eating it 3xs a day.

I should try making one of Heather's breads, they look yummy, but I am a bit intimidated by them. Not much else to do today though so I'll give it a shot, after I go buy a bread pan.
