Lisa,

I find them in some regular gorcery stores in the packaged meat section. I keep Kosher though--and it can be found in most any Kosher grocery store--or you can probably order some on-line! I hope this helps!!!

Happy Wednesday!

I've thought of a couple more.

Original Premium Saltine Crackers
Quaker Quick Grits
Northland 100% Cranberry Juice
Santa Cruz Organic Applesauce--the cherry applesauce is especially good (try it in Heather's chocolate applesauce bread with dried cherries instead of raisins)

This idea ROCKS!! It would so helpful - here are a few brand name things I eat (some people may find they hurt, but may find they are tolerable)
1. Baked Lays/Baked Tostedios (Never WOW Chips!! with Olestra, big NO NO!!
2. Quaker Oatmeal
3.Lipton Peppermint Tea
4. Graham Crackers - I can't remember the name. They now make a Graham Cracker Stick - they are the best!
5. I eat Haagen Dias Rasberry Sorbet
6. I eat macarroni like it is going out of style - sometimes I put alittle butter in-it's not real butter, but Fleischmann's- it usually doesn't bother me

I'll try to thing of some more!

I've thought of a couple more.

nSpired Natural Foods Cool Fruits Fruit Juice Freezers are packaged like those neon-colored artificially-flavored popsicles in plastic tubes--but these only contain juice. For more info, see their website: web page

Of the Haagen-Dazs Sorbets, not one single flavor contains high-fructose corn syrup or any other weird ingredient. For more info, see their website: web page

Edy's Mango Whole Fruit Sorbet is (unfortunately) the ONLY Edy's Sorbet WITHOUT high-fructose corn syrup, among other weird ingredients.

On the other hand, Edy's Lemonade, Peach, and Variety Packs of Grape, Cherry, and Tropical or Lime, Strawberry, and Wild Berry Whole Fruit Fruit Bars are all free from high-fructose corn syrup (just avoid the Tangerine and Coconut flavors). For more info, see their website: web page

This is a great idea! I am new to this, and this would help me tremendously. I am so confused about what to buy when I'm grocery shopping.

Heres a few of my favorites:

Fantastic Brand Taco Meat Replacement (its soy protein)
I prefer the Soyco Rice Cheese
Soyco Rice non dairy sour cream
Eddys Strawberry sorbet
Soy Delicious Non dairy ice cream (the chocolate taste like chocolate cake!)
Thai Kitchen Rice Noodle bowls (they come in several different flavors and are great to take to work for lunch-just need a microwave!)
GeniSoy Rice Cakes (Yummy snacks!)

Taking it one day at a time.....

Heather,
Just a suggestion, but there is a similar listing of appropriate foods for Weight Watchers followers on a website called "www.dottisweightlosszone.com." Under the Message Board there are sections called "Foods That Keep Us OP (On Plan)" and "Restaurants." This has been a tremendous help to me when following WW. Here members share great food finds at the grocery store and appropriate things to eat when dining out. You might want to see how they set up these sections of their website.

Thanks for this! It will help the WW folks on this board, I'm sure. And I'll check them out when I'm ready to post the lists of safe IBS foods here - I'm letting that ride for a bit until I have the chance to do it.
