I already take the Jarro probiotic!! (Is there a smiley for smacking onself upside the head? ) I didn't even make the connection. How much of it do you take? I use the EPS formula (Enhanced Probiotic System).

Yep. Same stuff. I take 2 every night -- at midnight when my tummy's empty. (That's the ONLY time my tummy's empty!)

I have to ask -- doesn't this hurt even more????? When I get gas, I'm laying on my left side and breathing like I'm about to give birth!

Hi everyone,
I'm new to the board and am reading through all the old messages. What comfort to know that there are other people out there with IBS! Anyway, I haven't seen any mention of lemon balm (melissa officinalis)- it helps me more than anything else with my gas and bloating. I use 1-2 tsp per cup of water and let it steep 5-10 minutes (longer and it gets a little bitter). Hope this helps!

I just did a search for this stuff and discovered it's quite a "fix-all" for everything from cravings suppressor to cold remedy!

Yes, it's an herb, and I just make it into a tea. I believe it's related to mint, and is also anti-spasmodic and anti-viral. Just do a google search and you'll get tons of hits. It honestly works wonders!

Is this something the natural food store would carry or did you have to order it online?

Sorry, I forgot to mention to steep lemon balm in a covered conatiner, like a tea pot, so that the oils don't evaporate and it is more effective.

Pixna,

I got it at a health food store. They're looking getting me a deal on a bulk quantity because I go through so much!
