I would like to know what you think of making turkey burgers, meat loaf with baking them. Also what about the turkey bacon and sausage. I eat chicken and fish and that is about it in the meat line. Also what is your opinion about the veggie burger's?

I find turkey very dry and tasteless. I make my own ground chicken from 2/3 breast meat and 1/3 leg meat. It isn't as dry and it is very tasty.

I actually use ground turkey breast for everything. I make burgers and meat loaf, etc....It is dryer but, I find if I add just a touch of olive oil and sometimes with meatloaf I will actually add some chicken broth for moisture with the other ingredients. The other thing is to make sure you don't overcook it. I would be lost without it:)

What all do you use to season your meat loaf? I just wondered about a little crushed tomatoes thined out. I use alot of lavender seasoning in everything. My daugher makes chili out of the turkey, but then there is the beans we can't have. Thanks, JKP

I'm sure crushed tomatoes would work (I don't eat alot of tomato). I generally use some onion powder, paprika, basil and sometimes a little garlic....kind of depends:) Lavender sounds good too.
