I wish you would soften your tone especially with aperson. There is no need for you to be rude to her.

Try to appreciate each one of us for our differences please and remember that we are here to support each other not to be critical.

I think you have me confused with Toady. I am not having brain surgery.

I am not trying to pass judgement here and I am not trying to act "holier than thou". I definitely don't want to get into an argument with you.

I think you have a lot of good ideas and information to offer here but I do think sometimes your posts come off a little harsh and judgemental especially with aperson.

While I will stay out of that harsh and judgemental topic completly..I guess I'm saying that even though others are going to eat out,u can also go along and just not eat. I find It is much safer to eat things only I cook knowing every ingredient in them. I guess I just don't trust others when it comes to food they give me.

I was wondering what good things you found to eat, given I really love both Mediterranian and genuine Mexican food too. I hope everything went well and that you had a great evening on this first date.

A nice cooked piece of fish would be best. Real Mediterranean food isn't unhealthy; it is the American version that is! (like everything else!)

IBS-A for 20 years with terrible bloating and gas. On the diet since April 2004. Remember this from Heather's information pages:
"You absolutely must eat insoluble fiber foods, and as much as safely possible, but within the IBS dietary guidelines. Treat insoluble fiber foods with suitable caution, and you'll be able to enjoy a wide variety of them, in very healthy quantities, without problem." Please eat IF foods!

Windchimes, I think aperson was responding again to an earlier post, where she indicated that if you did not know what to eat, you could just skip it or get water or tea.

I know you were simply asking a question, not meaning any harm. Hope I answered it. Yeah, I'm cool! Just kiddin!

Oh Thank you for asking...it went very well! The owner's of the restaurant were in Damascus so it was a very limited menu. I had couscous with chicken, potatoes, sweet potatoes and carrots...very good! We also had flower tea - tea made from "handpicked" wild flowers from Syria...the overall experience was so neat! We sat upstairs on pillows...loved it!! And my tummy behaved wonderfully!!
