first of all i must apoligise for not posting in what seems like forever !! you probably havent missed me though lol !! today i was finally diagnosed with severe ibs !! so now i feel as though im kinda starting from the beginning again with food !! so am back for lots of ideas and recipes !!

Hi, welcome back! I haven't been posting quite as much recently myself, just keeping up with my journal on the Fitness board for the most part.

Glad you got your offcial diagnosis. At least now you can move forward.

thanks - yaeh im glad i have a diagnosis now but i feel like i have to go back to the beginning now because to be hoenst i have just eaten anything lately (obviously not the real culprit foods) and my bowel has been all over the place - i was saying to my mum last night that i remember when i first went on heather diet and how fast things imroved for me - i mean obviously i ha bad days liek everyone else but they didnt seem to bother me as much you know i still went away for weekends i still did everything i wanted to - just these days my lief tends to revolve around my house and my car and the school run becaus eim too scared to go anywhere else !! obviuosly i have to tackle the way of thinking i use i think and alot of that will prob come in weeks to come as i learn to live with as apose to suffer with !!

I am the same except I have had ibs for 35 years!! Anyway, I see you are in Warwickshire, i was wondering exactly where - I am in Coventry
