Hi Heather

Sorry to have been away for a while; things have finally settled down and, whilst I still have occasional bad days I am a lot more in control and am certainly a lot happier.

I have a question for you though, there has been a lot of press in Australia recently for Spelt bread which is supposed to be a return to the old ways of making bread and touted as good for things like IBS, as it reduces wheat intollerences etc; have you heard of it? is there anything to it?

I have sent the attached link to one of the more recent stories.

It's certainly a very nice tasting alternative, and hasn't caused any problems, but is quite espensive so I'd be interested in finding out whether there is anything to the claims.

I promise I will check in a bit more in the future.

Thanks and best regards

I know spelt is actually worse for celiacs and gluten intolerants.. and I think also for wheat intollerant people as its a form of wheat that is actually harder to digest if I recall right- it goes along the more insoluble fiber theories of treatment for IBS... but I could be wrong... and since that made me worse and this makes me better....
