I have to go to a work luncheon at the restaurant on Wednesday.

Usually, I can find something (and I am pretty stable), but this place has me a bit stumped.

Any suggestions? Here's their menu: http://www.gcfb.net/menu/menu.cfm

Wow, they really don't have any IBS-safe options! Maybe you could call them ahead of time & ask if any of their dishes can be prepared without cream, cheese, etc. Maybe they could do plain pasta w/chicken or fish?

Wow! That is a rather unfriendly menu. Even all the pastas have cheese and/or cream, and from what I could see there wasn't even a grilled chicken burger (usually an American-style restaurant staple).

The only thing I would suggest is perhaps going with the chicken quesadilla and asking them to hold the cheese and sour cream...? Or maybe the Monterey chicken wrap, again asking for them to hold the cheese and maybe ask for a honey mustard dressing instead of ranch...

IBS-A since age 12, and fructose sensitive; with the exception of my pregnancy, have been following Heather's diet since Nov. 19, 2007.
Taking 12g of Acacia per day. Relatively stable since March 2008!

Yikes! You could try the Blackened Chicken Linguine but ask them to prepare it without the Parmesan and bearnaise sauce....just salt your noodles....good luck!
