I regularly have one cup as my day begins and one more throughout the day. I cannot begin to express my thanks for your knowledge in this area - so far (2 weeks!) my tummy & bowels are fabulous....100%. I just don't want this to stop. So, I ensure that I keep my diet steady (have owned your book for some time now) and have not yet had any issues. Fennel Tea
Typically, just before I start my period, I have a lot of bloating, and just tons of discomfort. This tea seemed to have prevented all of that discomfort. True test will be next month. If I'm drinking this tea, and I'm not suffering with the severe bloat, and discomfort during PMS, I will then know for sure this tea is the reason why. I love the taste. I add one packet of splenda to my cup of tea, and it's yummy!

Love it!!
Before finding Heather's website, "hopeless" would be an accurate way to describe my life with IBS. Feeling trapped in a body that could give me such unbearable pain and a mind that seemed to betray me. The safest place for me was in my own home, near my own bathroom. There was no need then to fear and of course, I then felt at my best. But as soon as I had to leave for either work or shopping or anything else, my stomach would clench and send me running. Shopping became completely unenjoyable and my mind was always on where the nearest bathroom was. Eating out was something we rarely did because...well you know. What if??? I've suffered this way ever since the birth of our youngest child, 14 years ago. There have been times where its been worse and times when it seemed like it was gone. However, the last many years it's been very present and exceptionally painful; to the point of feeling faint from it. So terrifying, I can't even explain it. But for the first time, after reading the testimonials, I realized I'm not alone!!! This alone has helped to bring a type of relief. The diet change has been huge, the fiber amazing, and both the peppermint and fennel teas are something I enjoy immensely throughout the day! The peppermint capsules, unfortunately I seem unable to take as they cause heartburn no matter how or when I take them. That's ok though, the other products along with the diet have been doing the trick! As far as my mind stress goes, I truly believe that as more time goes without an attack (there has only been one in well over a month!!) the more my mind will relax and not get worked up when it's time to head out the door. I'm so excited it's hard to explain! And hopeful for the first time in what seems like a lifetime of living in fear...Thanks Heather from the bottom of my heart for caring enough to spread the good news and for your excellent products and recipes. The fennel tea specifically targets bloating and gas associated with IBS, but won't do much for other IBS symptoms. I'm not sure which specific "IBS problems" you're experiencing, but I would definitely recommend a good soluble fiber supplement like our Acacia Senegal Tummy Fiber. This will help with ALL symptoms of IBS. Including diarrhea and constipation. You could also try peppermint tea for pain or urgency, or the peppermint oil capsules for preventing pain, cramping, bloating, gas, and urgency. I looked on the bottom of the can. The expiration date was not on it. Usually it is on it. This is a concern to me.

Complex feedback on Fennel Tea Order
Speed of delivery even faster than needed. The fennel tea also delivers gut relief to me quickly, and this speed I welcome. Nothing else I do for relief acts as quickly. I have long felt that the postage fees are much too large a cost. They often represent a 1/3 increase in costs for purchases. With this order I took more initiative and talked to customer service. I found out that postage depends on the number of items ordered. However, after 3 items there are no increases in postage charges. This information needs to be given to your customers so that they can plan their puchases accordingly.

Caused me more pain
This tea caused me more pain and discomfort. It bloated me up really badly. Sadly I bought three cans of this stuff. Every time I drink it I get painful bloating and gas that lasts all night.

Really felt a difference
I'm one of those customers that is guilty of NEVER reviewing products. However, I really felt like this tea deserve some major compliments. I started feeling weird in my tummy since last summer and I went to the doctor many times but he never took my stomach troubles seriously. I got very discouraged and depressed because I always ate really healthy and couldn't figure out why I was constipated and bloated ALL THE TIME. I was really fit and worked out all the time but since I developed this (I was never diagnosed but I'm sure it's IBS) I lost all interest in anything. Then I try couple things and finally I found Heather's website. Made me much worse!
I've tried this product in the past and believed that it caused diarrhea. But, thinking it was a fluke, I ordered it again to help with bloating and gas. I drank 2 cups in 2 days and had a bout of severe diarrhea with horrible gas following it. I will not be using this tea anymore - it is not safe for me!

So far so good!
I have been drinking 1 cup of hot Fennel tea daily along with 1 Peppermint capsule every morning and Acacia fiber 3 times a day. I had to get used to the Fennel tea's taste but it grew on me. And, I would drink muddy water if it helped my IBS-C...and after using the products for 2 months now, this regime has worked so far! I am so excited about it!

Fennel tea bags
I have been using Heather's tummy teas for years. I generally use the loose tea but I can toss these into my purse and grab a cup of hot water anywhere and have tea. I love to mix the fennel tea with chamomile tea and chunks of fresh ginger.

Heather says: Feedback Rating Hi Kate - The Fennel tea does have a mild black licorice taste to it. If you're not too keen on the taste, try adding some sugar or honey to sweeten it a bit. Or, you can brew it with the Peppermint Tummy Tea, which will completely mask the taste of the fennel but still give you the benefits. It really helps at first to drink as many cups of the fennel tea per day for the first few days as you can possibly manage. That will "overwhelm" your gut with fennel and help you get on top of the bloating and gas. Then you can drop down to a reasonable amount of a cup or two per day and keep bloating and gas in check. Unusual Flavor, but does the job
I don't care for the taste of fennel as much as peppermint, but it really does work. When I have a flare up, I might go through 6 bags or so before I can stop, but it sure works.

GREAT PRODUCT
It definitely helps with the gas & bloating. If I have an attack of gas (and it has been severe)or even discomfort in my digestive system I'll take 2 teabags and drink them consistantly through-out the day and the discomfort or gas will ease up considerably. The key seems to be drinking it consistantly and not getting discouraged.

I'm regular again!
I go back and forth between diarrhea and constipation. Constipation mostly. Within a week the fiber has started to regulate my bowel movements and the lower back pain from the constipation has decreased quite a bit. I am a very thin petite girl so I take half a teaspoon of fiber a day and so far that's worked for me!

I have suffered with IBS-C since 1978. After enduring all the medical tests, trying every new Rx, modifying my diet, etc. I had just about given up on finding relief. I've been looking for something to help with gas and pain for a long time. This works for me.

The first time my wife had a cup of Fennel jumbo Tea Bags she noticed some minor relieve. She increased her tea intake to three cups a day and she states now no relieve noticed. I haven't been able to find fennel tea, nor fennel seeds other than in the small jars in the spice aisle, in any of my local stores. These tea bags are a better alternative to me steeping the loose seeds. I like the flavor and also use the fennel teabag with an herb tea bag. It might be nice for the fennel bags which are very large to also come in a smaller size.

Fennel Tummy Tea
I have using Heather's tummy tea fir several months now, and I live by it. I've suffered with IBS since I was a teenager and this tea helps with the spasms, gas and bloating that I encounter after meals...what I now do is drink a cup of Fennel tea first thing in the morning and I feel better after my meal. Also I like to drink a cup before bed. Review of fennel Tea Bags and Peppermint Tea bags
Dear Heather, The fennel & peppermint tea bags are particularly easy to use rather than the loose leaf tea in a tea ball and I have a cup of fennel tea every morning. During the day, as a snack, I have a cup of peppermint tea in bag form along with some Sweet cinnamon zuchini bread toasted with a type of margarine I can use safely.
