Hi and Welcome to the boards. I walk not run. I find when I run it jars my insides and then I start to hurt. I do a few crunches but just recently started Pilates; 2nd time today! Boy what a work out. It helps abs, gluts and every other muscle I didn't know I had . Try different excercises and see what helps you. Also I know some do yoga!! Take care Sue
