Hello Everyone This is my first post on this board. I have been wanting to try yoga for years but have always talked myself out of it. I am 5'10 and about 100 pounds over weight and I am afraid I would feel and look like an idiot trying to do the moves. I have recently lost 35 pounds doing heather's diet ( I am still having a hard time giving up dairy but I am getting there) I have a hard time in new places with new people because i think everyone is staring or making comments about my weight, I know most of this is in my head I would just buy a tape but I know it will just sit there. I need a class to get going and keep me keep going. Double edge sword. So my question is, are there overwieght people in classes or just already healthy fit people? I know this sounds stupid, but it is the majior reason i have never done yoga or joined a gym. I am hoping if I work up enough courage to go it will help the IBS and depression. Thanks
