Probably, but it's not a lot of oil. We're talking maybe a tablespoon for two 'taters. I think it just helps to soften the potatoes a bit and help them get pretty grill marks.

If a tablespoon sounds like too much oil for you, try it with the Pam and let me know how it goes!
