Does anyone know any recipes for fat free fortune cookies, fat free saltines, sourdough bread, plain bagels, plain english muffins, pumpernickel bagels? I can seem to find any here in Winnipeg, MB. I'd also like to say thank you so much Heather for writing your books about IBS. I appreciate so much. I can't thank you enough. I had IBS since I was 17. I'm 19 now and will soon be 20. I have very severe IBS. I'm still trying to get it under control. My doctor said I had an ulcer but he was wrong. I'm in agony everyday. He thinks it's all in my head. He thinks IBS is a joke. I'd like to kill him. I went to a specialist last year and he told me I don't have IBS. I finally went to another doctor and he said I have IBS or Crohns Disease. I went through all the tests and found out I have IBS. He gave me Dicetel and that's it!!!! He didn't tell me about peppermint tea, soluble fiber, etc.
I am drinking peppermint everyday, swallowing altoids, eating the right foods but I'm still in agony. I can't work yet. I get severe constipation. I can't socialize. I don't know what else to do. I have to have a heating pad on my stomache each day and I take Dicetel everyday but I still have severe IBS. I am so bloated and have so much gas and gas pain and cramps. I can hardly wake up in the morning. I only like to sleep since I can't feel the horrible pain when I'm sleeping. I hate everyday.
