Hi everyone! Hope everybody had a good (pain-free!)Saturday!

It's been one of those days where I haven't been actually sick, but just felt like I'd better eat on the very safe side. I decided to have oatmeal for supper, but didn't feel like eating it plain. Here's what I came up with (It's so simple...it may be something you eat already, but it was new for me and I really liked it. A "Comfort Food!"

Kelly's Oatmeal

Gluten-free oatmeal (could use the quick cooking or regular...just cook it using whatever method you like to use- microwave or stovetop)

Banana: I cut it in 1/2 lengthwise and then into slices.

Applesauce: I like Musselman's Natural. Maybe 1/2 cup.

Walnuts: I chopped these very finely in my food processor; maybe 1 tablespoon or so.

Cinnamon-Sugar: to taste

After you've cooked your serving of oatmeal, just toss in the banana, applesauce, walnuts, and cinnamon-sugar. Stir it all together and relax and eat!!
