Cream of mushroom soup. How Can I cut the fat in this Help!

I found this on line I am out of broth at the moment and trying to come up with "safe" meals til I get some I thought this look good but the butter is to much how can I cut it? Thanks
Cram of mushroom
3 tablespoons butter
3 tablespoons flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1 tablespoon dried onion
1/8 teaspoon dried parsley
1/8 teaspoon basil
1/4 teaspoon thyme
2 cups safe milk

Melt butter in a sauce pan over low heat. Add flour, salt, pepper, onion, parsley, basil and thyme. Next gradually add milk. Bring to a boil. Boil on medium-low for 2 minutes.
