I found this on line I am out of broth at the moment and trying to come up with "safe" meals til I get some I thought this look good but the butter is to much how can I cut it? Melt butter in a sauce pan over low heat. Add flour, salt, pepper, onion, parsley, basil and thyme. Next gradually add milk. Bring to a boil. Boil on medium-low for 2 minutes.
