Heather's Chocolate Silk Pudding       10/19/10 05:10 PM Edit Reply Quote lelac36 Reged: 09/29/10 Posts: 11 Loc: Boston, MA Any advice from others who have made this recipe? I have had great luck with several recipes from Cooking for IBS, but I am not sure why I could not get the pudding to boil as mentioned in the instructions. Am I too impatient? I was whisking away for about 25 mins. I don't have a double boiler, but I used a pot with a stainless steel bowl on top and I kept adding more water underneath to bring up the water level until it was touching the bowl, but it didn't seem to help. I just finished off the recipe anyhow and it smells good. Just not sure what I may be doing wrong. Plus I don't want to worry about salmonella; if the pudding boiled I would have felt more secure.
