Oatmeal Nut Bread (Bread Machine)       01/10/05 07:58 AM Edit Reply Quote bellshel32 Reged: 10/28/04 Posts: 371 Loc: Kansas, USA Here's a recipe I use weekly. It makes a 2 lb loaf. Oatmeal Nut Bread (Bread Machine): 1 1/2 cups water 2 Tbs powdered soy milk 2 Tbs canola oil 2 Tbs molasses 2 Tbs honey 1 1/2 tsp salt 2 cups whole wheat flour 1 1/2 cups white flour 1/2 cup quick-cooking oats 1 1/2 tsp yeast 1/3 cup chopped walnuts or pecans Somtimes I make it without the nuts, but I love the hint of nutty flavor when I do use the nuts.
