It happened in 1992...

I was in the hospital for just a few days....

Lots of stitches and and biggest ones (two that kind of connected) and made one BIG ONE..on my left breast..were pack and healed from the inside out....hard to explain...my Mom had to remove the gauze each day and put sulfur (the stuff in matches) inside with like BIG cotton swabs....she is a nurse, but HATED doing it do her daughter....I would cry and yell every time.

I had fractured ribs so I could not lay down all the way or I would not be able to breath....I slept in my grandfather's old lazy boy (note: about 4 years ago I got tattoo on my chest on the other side of the scars now.... has angel wings that are my grandfather....I was thinking of him when I was in the ambulance).

Then later I had radiation treatment on my chest and on my forehead (I still to this day can't feel anything around the scars on my forehead) and it caused some hairs not to grow back in again. BUT I'M ALIVE!!

I have flashbacks and really get emotional, and turn my head every time I see knives on TV or in movies......but then I remember what I did...and then a snap out of it and turn proud!
