You'd think by this time in my life I'd have seen and heard just about everything -- and yet I'm constantly disappointed in people. I don't know if you read one of my past posts about this -- if so, you're gonna hear it again -- it bears repeating. My old boss in SF wrote me a note one time when I was down about someone who had been rude to me; I kept it all these years and still have it -- because it meant so much to me, and because it's true: "It is a mistake to go through life expecting the rest of the world to be as nice as you are." This person who said that to you, Jen, is jealous because of all the marvelous weight you lost (40 pounds is VERY impressive, Girlfriend! -- I wish I could lose it!). Being the pretty lady that you are, she didn't need much encouragement, but the weight loss probably put her over the edge. She couldn't find any fault with you -- and it no doubt drove her crazy -- until today. My reaction to her would have been (although I would not have said it): "yeah, nobody's perfect; you just proved that by opening your big mouth!" -------------------- <img src="http://home.comcast.net/~letsrow/smily3481.gif">Bevvy Print     Remind Me     Notify Moderator
