GERD       08/06/16 06:44 PM Edit Reply Quote Wolfgrl Reged: 01/28/16 Posts: 10 I have been taking GERD medicines for over 30 years. I also have IBS-D and am recently having problems controlling my diarrhea. I also do not have a gallbladder. I have read that over use of GERD medicines can cause severe diarrhea. Does anyone else have a similar problem? Peppermint tea and ginger tea only seem to make the GERD spiral out of control. I am at the end of my rope and cannot tolerate the constant pain and diarrhea. My doctors cannot find anything wrong other than gastritis (by endoscopic procedure) and IBS because they seem to have ruled everything else out. Can anyone offer any help?
