left sided colitis , new diagnosis .. Please Help       07/31/16 08:19 AM Edit Reply Quote Lololee Reged: 07/31/16 Posts: 1 please help , I was at ER after cramping and bleeding . I had a cat scan with contrast that showed Left sided colitis and diverticulosis, I went to the Gastro for follow up Friday and all he said was to do a clear ;liquid diet and I would get colonoscopy after a couple months and has me on antibitocs cipro and flagyl for two weeks , I went almost 48 hours on the clear liquids , but the headaches and hunger got to me . so last night I had rice boiled in a bouilion cube , today I had my coffee one cup with a small amount of almond milk . I am now cramping again and bleeding . I also had a yogurt .. I feel like something more should have been done about this . I have been out of work for a week already ! I cannot live like this ... does this seem normal to anyone ??? Please Help Print     Remind Me     Notify Moderator
