Hey everyone. I'm a drama student currently pursuing studies in London. I just finished a school year but am hoping to further my education in the Fall (pursuant to being offered a place at school again.)

I was diagnosed with IBS a couple of years ago, and have mostly managed to keep my symptoms under control, up until this past school term, where I was really stressed. In particular, the last 3-4 weeks of school I was having D attacks all the time, and had to take Immodium just to barrel through.

The thing is, if you're successful, which is obviously the goal, this business has got to be one of the worst for IBS sufferers. We're talking 6 days a week of long grueling days, with irregular hours...really early mornings, really late nights. Often it's very emotionally and physically demanding work. There's all the travel and jet-lag. You can't just rush to the toilet if you're in the middle of a shoot on the set, or in a rehearsal room, or even a performance.

Any other people in the field who can offer some advice?

Thanks!
