I took Neurontin for the pian. it helped! So did Elavil. But it seemed to effect weight gain (Elavil I gaine about 30 lbs! Yikes! Took me about 8 months to lose it!)
Extra weight is extra pressure on the bladder as well.
I am confused btw if I am on a pain med or am helped by the surgery if I am still harming the bladder wall...or if only pain is a prob? (I know how low pain with frequency atm...so I assume there is still damage. If that's the case I still have to eat the diet. At least with the surgery I will KNOW what's wrong and have a 50-50 chance of remission for a year or so).
With all that info...what would you do Linz? (I know...some of the info. is missing, sorry for that! Plan to speak to the doc Mon.)
PLEASE feel free to argue with me why/why not you would have surgery. It is a BIG decision and the best thing I can do right now is feel like I am making the best one possible.
