update on my sales job

I did sales Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. By Thurs I was pretty depressed but also PMSy and realized I had lost a writing thing I entered (that made me cry). I tried not to think about it over the weekend-that I have made no sales and the job has some difficulty to it I hadn't predicted and that DH thinks I will be too sensitive to handle it. I read meters today and yesterday and this afternoon when I got tired I got depressed again. Now I am never depressed and never cry -usually. I hadn't cried in like a year until last month when I had the horrible stomach pain from naproxen. Well that seems to have opened floodgates and I want to cry a lot now. I am worried about the sales job being unproductive. DH says to get a job at the grocery store and quit meter reading and tell the graphic store I am only interested in writing. I haven't signed a contract yet. But then I don't want the businesses I went to last week to suddenly want graphics work and then to get cheated out of the commission- not that I expect that. I feel like I would be skilled at sales but that too few people want the graphics and websites and want to spend money. If they want that stuff they would just go to a store and buy it. Maybe I am not tough enough for such a job. I am not sure. I could sell less than $10000 a month and still have plenty commission to live on and if I got a big deal I could be set for a while. I just wanted to leave an update.
Another update: got another "no" on a query letter I sent to an agent. I might have gotten bad advice from my agent friend. So this is pouring salt in the wound on this depressed day!
