Another thing to consider...

Mike mentions in the adult and teen version of the IBS Audio Program, that we weren't born with IBS - that at some point in our lives, we could eat most anything, and did not have IBS symptoms as very young children (ruling out other health-food conditions that are not IBS of course) so think back to when your daughter ate whatever she wanted - have her think back to that age - even if it was 4, 5, etc. since she is now 13.

At what point did she have problems with certain foods, when did it get to be every time she ate them? It probably is hard to remember back specifically, but it is something to consider in the IBS journey. There was a time when food was not an issue. Mike's program works to get IBS patients back to that time.

Most people who see success with the program do move on, and no longer even think about IBS, it gradually dissapates from their lives and they move on - and away from these forums, etc.

Just another perspective that Mike mentions after seeing thousands of IBS patients - since 1991 - that's a long time, so he knows what he is doing!

Hope this encourages things a bit...
