Hi - Thank you for your questions -

Firstly, the IBS Audio Program is a process - there is no set time frame for improvement - some folks see relief early on, others (like myself) have completed the program several times before seeing any improvement. So the timing of the sessions is not necessarily reflective of when you will see relief - even though you did on your previous try. Since you did not finish the entire program, most likely your improvement may not have been fully set.

There are two things you can do - and it is up to you -
Firstly, you could stop doing the program for a few days or a week or so - just give yourself a bit of a break as typing this problem out and thinking about it may have linked lack of success with a time frame, and this will take that aspect out of the equation.

The other option is just to continue on with the schedule no matter what your symptoms are doing, and know that you did have success the first time, as well as helping with the anxiety, so your body is changing. What you are perceiving as lack of progress in one area may not be the case overall - it does take time - and most likely you have had IBS longer than the number of days you have been listening to the program, so be patient with yourself and give yourself the needed time to complete the program (with a bit of a break or not) and know that you can continue to improve again.

Also, it may well be that your subconscious mind "sees" the anxiety concerns as more urgent than the IBS symptoms this time around,so that has been addressed first.

Just remember that the program is a process - and while there is a mid-point rating, there is no set time frame as everyone is different in how long they have had IBS, and how severe. Other factors enter into it to, like having had many other treatments that have failed prior to doing the hypnotherapy, so that mindset has to be overcome as well - it is a subtle and gradual process for most folks.

Many people with severe IBS may not see the level of relief they want in only 50 days - some do, some don't. There are so many reasons for this - everyone's situation is different - levels of stressors, other factors and health concerns, severity and length of IBS, etc.

Hope this addresses your concerns - hang in there - take hope in the fact that so many people have been helped by this program since 1998 - it really does have a great track record! So be encouraged... all the best to you.
