Tailbone Pain, Infrared Coagulation

Hi Everyone,
My story is that two years ago I started having tailbone pain, and a couple of months later started having IBS symptoms including horrible bloating to the point where I looked pregnant and my pants didn't fit on the waist, constipation, and cramping pain.
I'm very concerned that my doctors aren't picking up an association between my tailbone pain and my IBS symptoms. I've had 3 caudal epidurals/steroid shots for tailbone pain. I'm worried that these numb/change the nerves in the rectal area- contributing to my constipation/other IBS symptoms.
I developed hemorrhoids and had infrared coagulation for them. This is supposed to be a "painless" procedure with minor burning if anything and bleeding afterwards. For me, during the procedure I had stabbing pain in the rectum that seemed to radiate up to the tailbone area. I felt horrible cramping pain in my lower stomach area. I began sweating and felt like I was going to pass out. My doctor seemed to just think I was overreacting to the "minor" burning and when I said that my stomach was hurting she said it was just because the nerves in the GI tract are nonspecific and doing something to one area can impact other areas of the GI tract. But I'm really concerned that there is something wrong in the rectal/tailbone area that my colorectal surgeon, tailbone doctor (a spinal doctor), gastroenterologist, chiropractor, AND pelvic floor muscle physical therapist don't seem to know how to treat.
Has anyone else had tailbone pain? Has anyone else had terrible pain with infrared coagulation. Why does pain in my rectum/tailbone area seem to make the cramping in my stomach worse?
if anyone has had a similar experience or has advice/an understanding of this I would LOVE some help.
