Movicol and Peroxitine for IBS       03/12/10 04:22 AM Edit Reply Quote annacabanna2004 Reged: 05/25/05 Posts: 3 Loc: Yorkshire, UK I was referred to a specialist a couple of years a go for my IBS. I now take Movicol every night and Peroxitine (which is actually an anti-depressant) in very small amounts (5ml). These medications have turned my life around. I rarely have painful cramps and although I still have to watch what I eat, I can go out to eat and eat a larger variety of food than I ever could before. The Peroxtine has taken away my bloating and the doctor hopes that I may be able to be weaned off the medication altogether!! Print     Remind Me     Notify Moderator
