A new start - again (weight loss with chlorophyll)

I finished uni at the end of last year and now I'm working full time - shift work, no less. During Nov-Dec I spent 4 weeks in Sri Lanka on holidays and my gut hated me pretty much the whole time. Curry is not my friend. Plus their rice was really weird. Anyway, I digress. Since coming home to Australia and starting my job I've had a lot of trouble looking after myself - eating right, exercising, relaxing etc. I've gained about 10kg in the last 4 or 5 months and feel like a whale. I feel bloated most of the time and have terrible gas, which I'm sure my workmates are starting to notice.

I've decided I need to get myself back on track, but there are a few obstacles and I'm looking for some guidance and inspiration.

Firstly, has anybody tried liquid chlorophyll for a detox? Does it work? Will it affect my gut? Will it help to lose weight? What do you all think of detoxing in general?

Secondly, does anybody else here do shift work? If so, how do you balance your life with work? Is it possible to maintain a routine? In my case if I wanted to have a set bed time/wake time I would be going to sleep at 10.30-11pm and waking at 5.30am every day because of my shift times. This is simply not possible for me - on top of my IBS I suffer from hypersomnia.

Thanks in advance, any advice/suggestions/tips/anecdotes are appreciated!
