if you need the percocet, take it. just make sure you're not taking it more often than prescribed. maybe make a chart so you can tick off each dose on a schedule.

i've been reading a lot about pain relief and many doctors feel that you're less likely to get addicted if you take it really consciously and are aware of the potential for abuse. if you don't have any addiction problems, i say take what you need! you've been in so much misery, you deserve to take the medicines that will help you.

ps: i tend to trust pharmacists. if he said it's ok, then i think you'll be ok. just note if you have an increase in pain or any other symptoms that they warn against.



symptoms:
Abdominal fullness, gaseous
Abdominal distention
Abdominal pain and cramping
Vomiting
Failure to pass gas or stool (constipation)
Diarrhea
Breath odor
