You would be surprised how many bread items have dairy in them. I use an organic english muffin. Or look at your store's brand they may be dairy free. I've spent so much time reading food labels but once I find products that have little or no additives, dairy, the guar gum etc,casein, whey, and carregean I stick with it. I just takes time. Beware of lunchmeant even turkey and chicken has dairy! The deli person was just as surprised as I was! Dairy comes in many names and forms so be careful. You can ask an allergist or go to an allergy org. website. One more item Haagen Das sorbet has trace amounts of milk protein it says right on the label!
