Re: Hair Loss?       04/28/04 06:14 AM Edit Reply Quote barbie Reged: 04/22/04 Posts: 2435 Loc: Texas Hi, My daughter-in-law had gastric bypass surgery to lose weight and the doctor told her that she would have hair loss after the surgery because she wouldn't be absorbing her vitamins properly. She did have hair loss but after a year it is getting back to normal. Maybe you are deficient in certain vitamins. Also, I am going through menopause and I notice lots of strands of hair on my brush. I have very thick hair so it's not so bad....yet. Maybe it could be hormonal. When I lost a lot of weight because I was afraid to eat I also noticed hair loss.
