Just wondering if bison is allowed to eat on the IBS diet. You can see by the same weight statistics below why bison is considered a healthy meat.
Bison- (Fat-2.42 g, Calories-143, Protein-28.44, Cholesterol-82, Iron-3.42, Vitamin B-12-2.86)
Chicken- (Fat-7.41, Calories-191, Protein-28.93, Cholesterol-89, Iron-1.21, Vitamin B-12-.33)
Also wondered about lean pork, like pork loin. I am new to this way of eating, and I'm curious about why I may need to avoid them. Is it just because of the fat content, or is there another reason? I feel much better these past 2 weeks, so I have no issues staying away from these if I need to.
