Hi - the amount of oil in all pep caps should not be a trigger as eating fats would be - it's just too minimal.

What's the dose of peppermint oil in your cap? 180mg per cap is industry standard, and if bloating/gas are your main issues you want fennel oil in there as well.

Peppermint oil is a smooth muscle relaxant, pain killer, and anti-spasmodic, so great for preventing IBS pain, spasms, cramps.

Fennel oil is a carminative, which means it helps your body reduce/expel bloating and gas.

You should see results from an peppermint oil cap within the first day or two. They should not make gurgling worse. Make sure you take on an empty stomach, in advance of symptoms. If mornings are rough, take one last thing at night on an empty stomach.

Since you have day long problems, try going to three caps per day. One first thing in the am, one mid day or before dinner, one last thing at night.
