Tarceva targeted cancer drug       08/13/16 05:20 AM Edit Reply Quote Schmeggs Reged: 08/13/16 Posts: 2 Hi -- I had IBS several years ago and used Heather's Tummy Fiber and diet with great success. I 'had' been free of IBS symptoms for the last few years (without the fiber and diet restrictions). My doctor had also increased my thyroid medicine (Naturethroid) and that seemed to help with the anxiety, etc. I was recently diagnosed with metastatic lung cancer (56 yr old health conscious non smoker!?) and am taking Tarceva (oral targeted cancer drug) which has a common side effect of diarrhea. The doctors recommend Imodium. I bought Heather's Tummy Fiber and will go back to the soluble fiber based diet, along with probiotics. I am wondering if you know, Heather, if drug induced side effects on the gut can be treated the same as for IBS? Thank you! Print     Remind Me     Notify Moderator
