Hi there! I'm new to these boards & also newly diagnosed w/ IBS. First of all, let me say I'm so happy to have found this site! I recently ordered Heather's fennel tummy tea & I love it! My biggest challenge was giving up coffee being I'm a mom of 2 very active boys that are always on the go. I currently take a probiotic & I've changed my diet considerably which has been my greatest blessing. Thank goodness for gluten free options & lactose free products! Tonight I'm going to try your lemon rosemary fish recipe, except I'm substituting orange slices for the lemons & tilapia for the cod. I guess my first question for Heather is can I use your prebiotic soluble fiber & still take a daily probiotic supplement? I've suffered w/ constipation, gas, & bloating for a while now. W/ the right foods, I've been able to tame the gas & bloating, but constipation is still a big problem for me. I've tried laxatives which work somewhat but also give me more gas & bloating that I certainly don't need. The same goes for prune juice. I'm currently not on any medication for IBS as I would prefer not to be. If I can keep my IBS in check the all natural way, I'd be much happier. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
