Thanks so much for replying!

I haven't received the book in the post yet and the last few days i've been trying to break the cycle with what I can gather from the website and previous posts but I think I've been doing it wrong.

I am in the UK and IBS-C sometimes A, with gas/bloating/pressure type pain.

I received the acacia fiber in the post today.

In the UK they don't have instant oatmeal or cream of rice/wheat or rice chex and I'm sensitive to wheat (it makes my eyes swell up).

I've been eating normal oatmeal (porridge), white rice, mango, bananas, papayas, plantains and boiled and baked potatoes with no skin.

It's definitely not working and all way too fibrous to break the cycle.. should i just stick to white rice and baked potatoes for a few days? Any safe fruits for breaking the cycle?

Also, will just eating these foods make me terribly constipated by the time I stabilise? I usually rely on oatbran, chia, flax and fruit?

And can I take my multi vitamins and probiotics?

Thanks so much for your help!
I'm going back to uni in 2 weeks and need to get out of crazy IBS attack mode which was triggered from strong coffee about 2 weeks ago..
