After three days should show less gas for sure..There's also less sulfur in you too from the onions that helps with less gas I would think. Aren't cooked onions better at getting some sulfur out? Plus, less soluble fiber at a time without those foods, which over ferments as well if there's an overgrowth of undesirable bacteria. That's why I think going back to just the rice grain helps during the flare-ups. Apples are in 3 of the fodmap catagories I think, but the peel is included, not excluded as with this site's diet unless cooked into the applesauce I guess, so there's that factor.
