Is it common for IBS to get worse as you get older?       10/13/14 08:51 PM Edit Reply Quote PMartin Reged: 08/05/08 Posts: 140 Loc: Niagara Region I've had IBS-D for 20 years now but have always gotten some relief from not having symptoms of pain, gas or bloating - just the D part. Recently however, this started changing and I'm getting bloating and gas. Is this common? A known and expected occurrence? Just wondering. -------------------- IBS-D. Or so a doctor says.
