Hello All,

I went to Urgent Care at my local hospital June 14th and found out I have cellulitis on my left eyelid.

I am pretty sure this is from a mosquito bite Thursday night. I woke up with swelling around my left eye Friday morning.

I am SO glad I went to see the doctor today! She said that my infection has already gone to deeper layers of the skin and I was really lucky I came in when I did!

I am on a 10 regimen of Bactrim, an antibiotic. I also have to put a warm wash cloth on my left eye every two hours.

But what I am really after is whether anyone else on this forum has used Bactrim and how has that affected your IBS.

Originally diagnosed with IBS-C in Spring, 2008. During spring to fall of 2008, had at least 10 acupuncture treatments and Chinese herbs. IBS went into remission. IBS returned in late July 2013 after taking 2 oral contrasts for a CT scan for cancer follow up. Had more acupuncture with different practitioner in summer 2014, but received little benefit.
