When oats/oatmeal is cooked it produces functional fibre that acts like SF. Porridge therefore contains more SF than IF making it safe for most IBSers.

My question is; does this same process not apply to other wholegrains cooked in a similar fashion, such as, polenta or quinoa?

And if not, why not?
