I was a D for about 15 years (the last 5 years were pretty stable), then it suddenly switched to bloating and gas for a few months then switched to C for a few months...then back to stable. Now I am suddenly in the gas phase. I am lactose intolerant (cheese is ok but no milk or yogurt) so my bacteria is probably a mess which could be causing the foul, excessive gas. I tried a a Schiff probiotic pill last "gas" time but it gave me horrible pain and D. Is there a particular one out there that is good for IBS?
